Executive Director
Starr Rhee serves as the Executive Director of the Nashville Urban Debate League. She is a Nashville native and an alumna of NUDL. She previously worked as a public high school teacher in Washington, DC and Cambridge, MA where she taught Social Studies and coached debate. She earned her Bachelors in Government and her Masters in Education from Harvard University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and exploring new restaurants.

Rob works as a finance lawyer, representing banks, direct lenders and private equity firms in complex transactions, primarily in the healthcare industry. He also represents the Tennessee Titans in their league-wide financings. Rob is a partner at Holland & Knight, and its predecessor in Tennessee, Waller Lansden. Rob is a native Nashvillian, and he and his wife raised his three adult children in Nashville.

The Nashville Urban Debate League (NUDL) Advisory Board is a team of passionate advocates committed to empowering young people through the transformative power of debate. Advisory Board members are not part of NUDL's Governing Board, but they play a vital role in amplifying NUDL’s visibility, expanding our network, and ensuring the sustainability of our mission.
